Roberto’s Restaurant
Roberto’s Restaurant is located on the Beach on the first floor of La Gaviota Tropical Boutique Hotel. It is open to the public from 7:00 AM – 09:30 PM daily. The menu contains fish, pork, seafood and chicken. There are many traditional Costa Rican dishes from which to choose and some international favorites. There is something for the vegetarian and the gluten free. A full breakfast is served to guests of La Gaviota Tropical Boutique Hotel.

In my opinion one of the top restaurants in Playa Hermosa. Excellent service, huge portions, amazing view, and service with a smile. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are top notch. Breakfast-burrito with friend egg was my favorite. Lunch-ceviche was perfect with fried plantains. And dinner-any seafood dish including tuna tartare was fantastic.
I spent 4 days at Playa Hermosa and struggled to find a nice place to eat with good food and reasonable prices. However, I was super impressed with Roberto’s. My dinner plate arrived with 7 large shrimp sprinkled with fresh bacon pieces on top of some of the best mashed potatoes I have ever eaten. That coupled with lovely relaxed beach front tables made for an unforgettable evening.
We love Roberto’s! The staff is like seeing beloved family you haven’t seen in a while and the ambiance is second to none. The sunsets are amazing. The food is very good. I highly recommend the smoothies and the flan. I definitely recommend this place!
Great location, food was fresh, quick and well priced. Had lots of animals, iguanas and birds around. Ham omelette was amazing! Will be coming back before our trip ends.
